I listened to this a few minutes ago and it really hit me hard…http://www.ifequip.com/2965
That video focuses on Matthew 7:12-14
12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. 13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Enter by the narrow gate
I want to take the path less traveled. I desire to live extraordinarily. I want to keep good character. You know what? It’s hard. It’s hard to choose to be patient when Mackenzie asks me for 17 things at the same time and then doesn’t want them anymore. It’s hard to be kind to people when I’m irritable. It’s hard to pack away all of your belongings and not know the next time you get to unpack them. It’s hard not knowing when you will have your own home again. But, I am choosing this. I’m choosing this to live the path less traveled. The path that goes through the narrow gate. The path that doesn’t settle for contentment. Choosing to live a life that doesn’t settle.
I don’t want to settle. I don’t want to settle living the same monotonous life that is easy to get sucked into. Let’s make life exciting. Let’s live for something more!
