For the past year or so, I have been really wanting to get up before my kids. How nice would it be to have time to myself and read and maybe work out without interruption? I think a lot about how I would love more Kari time. Mornings could be the perfect time. I have done it a few times, but I haven’t been disciplined about it.
I LOVE to sleep! I probably should go to bed earlier. I think getting rid of cable will help because I won’t have DVR shows to catch up on. Before daylight savings, my kids were waking up between 6:45 and 7:15. That’s so early for me! After the time change, my kids are now sleeping until 8:30. I’ve noticed that I’m just as tired getting nine hours of sleep as I am getting six. What is this? Maybe this is the perfect time to start waking up before my kids.
I read Maximize your Mornings, a free ebook about how to make the most out of your mornings. It is so good! It really helped me put into perspective how starting off my mornings well can completely change the course of my day and my attitude. It also gave me some ideas of what I should do when I wake up to start my day. Here is the ebook: http://inspiredtoaction.com/ebook/
